About ThoughtLeaders

We don’t manage your LinkedIn. We build your thought leadership.

Everything you’d want to know about ThoughtLeaders is on this page: who we are, what we believe about LinkedIn, how the work actually happens and where we’re based. We’re a LinkedIn thought leadership agency for B2B founders, executives and leadership teams, founded by Zubair and Noman and run from Dubai.

Origin

Why we started

We started by doing this for ourselves. Two people posting on LinkedIn about work we understood, learning in public what landed and what was noise, and finding out that the posts which brought real conversations were never the polished ones. They were the specific ones. The ones with a number in them, or an opinion someone could disagree with.

Then founders started asking us to do it for them. Every one of them had the same problem in a different order: they knew more about their market than anyone writing about it, and none of that knowledge was anywhere a buyer could find it.

The belief

What to know about ThoughtLeaders before you talk to us

Three things, and they're the reason we win or lose a pitch.

First, we do positioning before posting. Most agencies start with a content calendar. We start with one uncomfortable question: what should you be known for that your competitors can’t also claim? If you can’t answer it, the posting doesn’t matter, because nothing accumulates. That work has a name and a page: LinkedIn personal branding.

Second, a person writes every word. We use software for transcription, research and sorting ideas. We don’t use it to write, because the tools average every sentence toward the middle of the internet, and the middle is where nobody remembers you. What you get instead is LinkedIn ghostwriting built from a recorded conversation with you, edited against a voice guide your writer maintains.

Third, we take the consistency problem seriously. Founders don’t fail at LinkedIn in January. They fail in the third week of a bad quarter. So publishing and engagement sit with us, on a schedule that doesn’t depend on how your month is going. Your part is about 30 minutes a week.

Strategy, voice and time. Fix one and you get a gap where the other two were.

The founders

The founders

Zubair and Noman run the company and both still work on accounts. If you hire us, one of them is on your calls.

Zubair

Co-founder, ThoughtLeaders

Works on client accounts alongside running the company. His side of the work is the positioning conversation every account starts with.

Noman

Co-founder, ThoughtLeaders

Runs the side of the company that turns a thirty-minute conversation into a month of posts that sound like the person who said them.

Method

How the work actually happens

A client account has a small, named team, and the same people stay on it. The shape is deliberately boring, because consistency is the product.

  1. One interview a week. Twenty minutes, on a call or as a voice note. We ask; you talk the way you’d talk in a meeting. No prep, no homework.
  2. A writer, not a pool. One person writes your posts every week, so the voice gets sharper rather than resetting.
  3. A second pair of eyes. An editor reads every draft against your voice guide, which lists the phrases you use, the ones you’d never use, and the claims you refuse to make.
  4. Your approval, always. Drafts come to you in one place with the reasoning attached. Nothing publishes without your yes.
  5. Engagement in your name. Comments on your buyers’ posts and replies on your own, written by a person who has read your voice guide.
  6. A monthly session. What worked, what didn’t, what we’re changing. Not a dashboard emailed at you.

Where

Where we are, and who we work with

We’re based in Dubai. Our clients are B2B founders, executives and leadership teams in the UAE, Europe and the United States, mostly in SaaS, professional services, fintech, legal and real estate. If you’re in the region, there’s a page written specifically for you: LinkedIn agency in Dubai.

We also publish industry-specific pages, because the buying committee in healthcare does not look like the one in SaaS: LinkedIn thought leadership by industry.

Clarification

One clarification, because the name is crowded

ThoughtLeaders at thoughtleaders.ae is a LinkedIn thought leadership agency founded by Zubair and Noman. We are not affiliated with ThoughtLeaders.io, the creator-sponsorship platform, with thoughtleaders.com, or with thoughtLEADERS LLC, the leadership-training firm. If you were looking for one of those, you’re on the wrong site and we’d rather tell you now.

Questions

Two things people ask

Thirty minutes, and a straight answer

We'll read your profile before the call. You'll leave with the three things we'd change first, whether or not you hire us.

  1. We read your profile first.

Your headline, your About section and your last twenty posts, before we speak. You don't need to prepare anything.

  2. You do most of the talking.

What you sell, who you need in the room, what you've already tried and why it stopped.

  3. You leave with a plan, or a straight no.

If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you on the call and point you somewhere better. We'd rather lose the retainer than take an account we can't make work.
