LinkedIn-First Personal Branding Agency in Dubai

We are a personal branding agency in Dubai that works on LinkedIn and starts with positioning. Before anything is written, we decide what you should be known for in this market, the three or four topics you’ll own, and how your profile reads to someone who has had your name for ninety seconds. Then we write and publish, in your voice.

  • A position in words you’d actually defend in a meeting, not a mood board
  • Your profile rewritten around it, then weekly content that proves it
  • Published pricing, from $1,500 a month

What a personal branding agency in Dubai usually sells, and what we sell instead

In this city, “personal branding” most often arrives as a package of visible things: a studio portrait session, a brand colour palette, a redesigned LinkedIn banner, a press feature, an award submission, a panel seat, a podcast appearance. All of it is real work, some of it is genuinely useful, and none of it answers the only question your buyer is asking.

That question is: what is this person right about?

A position is a claim you can defend. “Mid-market logistics companies in the Gulf are losing margin to the software they bought, not the fuel price” is a position. “Visionary leader driving transformation” is a biography adjective. One of those gives a reader a reason to remember you and repeat you; the other is what everyone has already.

So our order of work is positioning, then profile, then content, then engagement. We don’t shoot photographs, design logos or pitch journalists. We decide what you stand for, write it in your voice every week, and make sure the people who matter see it.

The underlying method is the same one on our LinkedIn personal branding agency page: positioning mapping, topical authority, voice capture. This page covers what changes when the market is the UAE.

Why personal reputation carries unusual weight in the UAE

In most markets, the company brand does the heavy lifting and the founder’s reputation is a bonus. Here it works the other way round more often than not, for three reasons that are structural rather than cultural clichés.

Nobody has heard of your company, and that’s normal. The UAE adds companies fast. DIFC alone reported 10,018 active registered companies at the end of the first half of 2026, around 30% more than a year earlier, and there are 46 free zones nationally. Your buyer cannot evaluate a company brand they encountered yesterday. They can evaluate a person whose thinking they’ve been reading for a quarter.

The private sector is family-owned, and surnames carry meaning. The UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism puts family businesses at around 60% of GDP and close to 90% of private companies. In a family firm, personal reputation and corporate reputation are the same asset. That creates a specific and common brief: a second- or third-generation leader who needs public credibility of their own, distinct from the family name but not in conflict with it. It matters commercially too, with a large transfer of family-owned assets to the next generations expected across the UAE before 2030 and relatively few Gulf family firms having formal governance in place.

Everyone’s track record is somewhere else. With roughly 88% of the population expatriate and more than 200 nationalities working here, almost nobody’s reputation is locally inherited. It has to be built in public, in front of people who have known you for months rather than decades. That is exactly what LinkedIn is for, and it’s why a position that takes six weeks to explain is useless in this market.

Who we build positions for here, and what each needs to be known for

Founders of companies under about five years old. You need one defensible claim about your market, repeated until buyers can say it back. Not a category description. A position usually means conceding something: the segment you don’t serve, the use case you’re worse at, the popular belief you think is wrong.

Second- and third-generation family business leaders. The goal is legitimacy on your own terms. We usually land on a subject that is adjacent to the family business rather than identical to it: the operational discipline you brought in, the modernisation you’re accountable for, what you’ve learned about governance. It lets you be a named authority without appearing to speak for the whole group. Where several family members or executives need this at once, it becomes Personal Branding for Corporates.

Regional MDs and country heads of multinationals. Your company has a global narrative and you need a regional one. The position is almost always about the gap between head office’s assumptions and what the Gulf actually does. It is also the version with the most internal stakeholders, and we work inside your global comms policy rather than asking you to breach it.

Partners and principals in professional services. Lawyers, consultants, advisers, bankers. Here the position has to be narrow enough to be referred. “Corporate lawyer” is not referable. “The person you call when a family business is restructuring shareholding before a sale” is. The content then proves it. See LinkedIn ghostwriting for consultants and LinkedIn ghostwriting for lawyers.

Real estate and hospitality leaders. Two sectors where Dubai is a global reference point, and where market commentary is the most valuable content a leader can produce. Covered in depth on LinkedIn personal branding for real estate executives and LinkedIn personal branding for hospitality executives.

Not for you if you’re job hunting. Recruiters and founders read profiles for opposite reasons, and a CV specialist will serve you better.

How we get to a position

Four steps. The first three weeks are the ones that matter most, and they’re front-loaded on purpose.

Day 0 — Audit call (30 minutes, free). We read your profile and your last 90 days before we speak, then tell you what we’d change first.

Week 1 — The positioning session (90 minutes). What you sell, who decides, what you believe that your market doesn’t, what you refuse to say in public, and which audience you actually need: UAE, GCC, or an international buyer who happens to be reading from here. We come out with a draft claim, three or four topics you’ll own, and the ones you’ll deliberately leave to others.

Week 2 — Profile rewrite and the pillar post. Headline, About, Featured and banner rebuilt around the claim, which is executive LinkedIn profile optimization in full. Then one pinned post that states the position plainly, so anyone arriving cold reads the argument first.

Weeks 3 onward — Proof, weekly. A recorded 20-minute interview becomes the week’s posts, written in your voice. That’s LinkedIn ghostwriting in Dubai. Comments on your buyers’ posts are LinkedIn engagement management.

Positioning without content is a document nobody reads. Content without positioning is twenty good paragraphs that add up to nothing.

If you only want the plan. Strategy-only engagements are available on a fixed monthly fee.

What we don’t do

Saying this plainly saves everyone a call.

What we do instead

  • decide the argument
  • write it weekly in your voice
  • publish it
  • answer the comments
  • report monthly on who is reading

We don’t

  • Shoot portraits or run video productions.
  • Design logos, brand identities or colour systems. We’ll write the banner copy and specify what it has to say.
  • Pitch journalists, book panels or submit award entries.
  • Buy followers, engagement pods or comment packages.
  • Promise a LinkedIn Top Voice badge. That’s awarded by LinkedIn on its own criteria, and anyone selling it as a deliverable is selling you something they don’t control.
  • Write opinions you don’t hold, or claims your compliance team hasn’t seen.

If you also want press and a photo shoot, hire a PR firm for that and keep this part with a LinkedIn specialist. The two work well side by side.

Language and audience

Arabic, English, and who you’re actually writing for

Business here runs in English, and for most of our clients the position and the content are in English only. Three audiences change that calculation: government and semi-government readers, family business networks, and Saudi-facing pipelines. For those, Arabic is not a nice-to-have, and a translated English post reads as translated.

The related decision is geographic. A Dubai-based executive can be writing for the UAE, for the Gulf, or for a global market from a Gulf base, and those are three different content plans with three different reference points. We pick one in the positioning session and name it, rather than writing something that works everywhere and lands nowhere. We work the same way with clients in Abu Dhabi and across the GCC.

The honest version: these are complements more often than alternatives. The failure mode we see most in Dubai is spending on all the visible layers first and never deciding the claim underneath them.
