LinkedIn Ghostwriting Cost in the UAE: AED Price Guide 2026

By Zubair & Noman · Updated

LinkedIn ghostwriting cost in the UAE ranges from about AED 1,500 to AED 6,500 a month at local writers and small agencies, and from about AED 4,800 to AED 29,400 a month at specialist agencies that price in US dollars. Freelancers on Upwork bill roughly AED 55 to AED 165 an hour. If you're a UAE-based client of a VAT-registered supplier, add 5% VAT.

Every figure below was checked on 7 October 2026 and is sourced at the end. Our own prices appear as one data point among several, and there's a section on when you shouldn't hire an agency at all.

Key takeaways

  • Local UAE packages cluster between AED 1,500 and AED 6,500 a month for 4 to 16 posts, roughly AED 250 to AED 700 a post.
  • Specialist agencies that publish dollar prices charge about AED 4,800 to AED 29,400 a month per executive. The dirham's peg to the dollar keeps those figures stable.
  • VAT at 5% applies to UAE-based clients of registered suppliers, and a VAT-registered business can usually recover it.
  • Most of the price gap comes from what surrounds the writing: positioning, how your voice is captured, comments and reporting.
  • Below about AED 5,500 a month, or if you enjoy writing, an agency is usually the wrong buy.

What does LinkedIn ghostwriting cost in the UAE in 2026?

It depends far more on the type of provider than on the number of posts. The table sets the main options side by side in AED, with the source for each range.

Option Monthly cost (AED) What it usually buys Source
Freelancer, hourly AED 55–165 an hour Writing time. Strategy and engagement are usually extra or missing. Upwork rate pages
Local entry package AED 1,500–2,800 4–6 posts, light editing Exeedin (Sept 2025)
Local mid-level package AED 2,800–4,200 8–12 posts, research, a content calendar Exeedin (Sept 2025)
Local executive package AED 4,200–6,500+ 12–16 posts, visuals, some profile work Exeedin; Labeeb; Octopus
Specialist agency, priced in USD AED 4,771–29,380 Interviews, strategy, writing, often engagement Agency pricing pages; Influent
In-house hire AED 3,753–7,136 average salary, before employer costs One person, often split across other work Indeed UAE
AI writing tool AED 73–731 Drafting software. You do the thinking and editing. Taplio, AuthoredUp, Supergrow

Upwork's figures are global rather than UAE-only. LinkedIn specialists there typically bill $15 to $42 an hour (median $25), and ghostwriters $20 to $45 (median $32). At the fixed rate of 3.6725 dirhams to the dollar, that's about AED 55 to AED 165 an hour.

What local UAE providers publish

Few of the UAE agencies we checked publish retainer prices. The ones that do, or that have written up the market, give a fairly consistent picture.

Exeedin's UAE guide (published 23 September 2025) splits the market into three bands: AED 1,500–2,800 a month for 4–6 posts with simple editing, AED 2,800–4,200 for 8–12 posts with research and a content calendar, and AED 4,200–6,500+ for 12–16 posts with advanced research and visuals. Exeedin sells an AI tool for LinkedIn content, which is worth knowing when you read its comparison.

Labeeb Writing & Designs, in Dubai, publishes three plans: AED 1,800 a month for 4 posts and a branded image, AED 3,200 for 8 posts including one long-form piece and a month-one profile rewrite, and AED 5,500 for 12 posts including two long-form pieces and two adapted Arabic posts. The first two run month to month on 14 days' notice; the third has a 3-month minimum. An Arabic add-on of 4 adapted posts costs AED 900 a month. The page doesn't say whether prices include VAT.

Octopus Marketing quotes AED 1,500–3,000 for profile optimisation and branding visuals, and AED 5,000+ for packages with content strategy, ghostwritten posts and analytics, with custom pricing for C-suite clients and public figures.

HikmahAI's Dubai social media pricing guide (31 March 2026) puts LinkedIn management at AED 1,500–2,500 a month without content, AED 2,500–5,000 with content, and AED 5,000–12,000 for full service including strategy and ads.

Udjat, a Dubai agency covering LinkedIn among other services, states on its LinkedIn page that "there is no meaningful flat price before the scope is defined." Quote-only pricing is the usual pattern among the agencies we checked, which is why the few published numbers are useful.

What specialist agencies charge, converted to AED

The LinkedIn specialists we found with published prices all charge in US dollars. Because the Central Bank of the UAE holds the dirham at 3.6725 to the dollar, the AED figure doesn't drift from month to month.

Agency (plan) Published price In AED Terms shown
YellowInk from $1,299 a month from AED 4,771 Not listed with the price
ThoughtLeaders $1,500 / $3,500 / $6,500 a month AED 5,510 / 12,855 / 23,870 3-month minimum, then 30 days' notice
Stop The Scroll (Individual) $3,000 a month AED 11,018 Month to month, 30 days' notice
Windmill Growth (Founder OS) $3,999 a month AED 14,686 Not listed with the price
StoryArb (Executive) $4,999 a month AED 18,359 6-month minimum
Influent's market estimate $2,000–$8,000 per executive AED 7,345–29,380 12 months typical, often negotiable to 6

Windmill also lists a $650 Growth plan, but it covers engagement rather than writing, so it isn't comparable here. Influent's row is its own estimate of the market, published 16 September 2026, not a price list.

Why per-post prices mislead

Divide each package by its post count and the prices sit closer together than the headline numbers suggest. Labeeb's three plans work out at roughly AED 400 to AED 460 a post. Exeedin's entry band runs from AED 250 to AED 700. Our own entry tier, The Presence, comes to about AED 460 a post (AED 5,510 for 12 posts).

With similar per-post prices, the real difference is what comes with the posts. Five questions separate one package from another:

  1. Is there a positioning step before writing? Without one, you get well-written posts that don't add up to anything a buyer can repeat. We explain how we do it on our LinkedIn personal branding page.
  2. How is your voice captured? A recorded interview, a written questionnaire and "send us your old posts" produce very different drafts. Ours is set out step by step on our LinkedIn ghostwriting page.
  3. Who handles comments? Replies on your own posts, and comments on your buyers' posts, are where much of the conversation happens. Check whether they're in the price; it's easy to assume they are. We cover what that work involves under LinkedIn engagement management.
  4. What does the report measure? Impressions are easy to count. Who is reading, and whether conversations follow, is the useful part.
  5. What's the minimum term? Among the prices above, it runs from month to month (Stop The Scroll, Labeeb's first two plans) to six months (StoryArb).

What pushes the price up in the UAE

Five things move a quote here.

  • Seniority of the voice. A CEO's posts carry more reputational risk than a manager's, so they take more interviewing and more editing.
  • Volume and format. Long-form posts, carousels and newsletters cost more to produce than short text posts.
  • Engagement. Commenting on other people's posts is daily work, and it's priced accordingly when it's included.
  • Arabic. Writing in Arabic, rather than translating English posts, needs a different writer. Labeeb's AED 900 add-on for 4 adapted posts is one of the few published local prices for it.
  • Compliance review. In financial services, healthcare and government-adjacent work, drafts often go through a reviewer, which adds time to every cycle.

How these factors play out for founders here, including the exhibition calendar and Ramadan, is covered on our page about LinkedIn ghostwriting for founders in Dubai.

How does VAT work on LinkedIn ghostwriting in the UAE?

The standard VAT rate in the UAE is 5%, in place since 1 January 2018. Three details change what you actually pay.

  • Not every supplier charges it. A business must register for VAT once its taxable supplies and imports exceed AED 375,000 a year. A freelancer below that threshold doesn't have to register, so may not add VAT.
  • You can usually recover it. If your company is VAT-registered and the expense relates to its taxable supplies, the Ministry of Finance says the input tax "can be recovered in full".
  • Clients outside the UAE are often not charged it. Services supplied to a client with no place of residence in the UAE or another GCC state that applies VAT, who is outside the country when the work is done, can be zero-rated under Article 31 of the VAT Executive Regulation.

Our own published packages exclude VAT. UAE-based clients pay 5% on top, which makes The Presence AED 5,785.50 a month, The Authority AED 13,497.75 and The Accelerator AED 25,063.50. Clients outside the UAE are generally not charged UAE VAT. When you compare quotes, ask each supplier whether the figure includes VAT, because not every pricing page says. This is general information, not tax advice.

What does an in-house hire cost in the UAE?

On salary alone, often less than a specialist agency. Indeed's UAE data puts the average social media manager at AED 3,753 a month (534 salaries, updated 28 September 2026) and the average content manager at AED 7,136 a month (from only 10 salaries, updated 18 July 2026). Averages like these mix junior and senior people, so read them as a floor, not a quote for someone you'd trust with a CEO's voice.

Then add what the salary leaves out. In Dubai, employers must bear the full cost of their employees' health insurance. Under Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021, end-of-service gratuity builds up at 21 days' basic salary for each of the first five years. And there's the recruiting time, the onboarding, and the gap when the person leaves.

The bigger question is scope. Writing for one executive is rarely a full-time job, so an in-house hire usually owns LinkedIn alongside the website, events and the company page. We compare the three models in LinkedIn agency vs freelance ghostwriter vs in-house.

ThoughtLeaders' prices, as one data point

We publish ours, so here they are in AED, before VAT. All three packages include a profile audit and rewrite, category positioning, a pinned pillar post and an onboarding strategy call. You give us about 30 minutes a week, and you approve every post before it goes live.

Package AED a month What's included beyond the foundation
The Presence 5,510 10 short-form and 2 long-form posts, 80 comments a month on buyers' and peers' posts, 1 lead magnet a quarter
The Authority 12,855 16 short-form and 4 long-form posts, 120 comments a month, a lead magnet every month, warm-lead tracking
The Accelerator 23,870 Everything in The Authority, plus a monthly list of 15–20 qualified prospects researched against your positioning

Billing is monthly in advance, in USD or AED. The minimum term is 3 months, then month to month with 30 days' notice. The full line-by-line comparison is on our LinkedIn ghostwriting packages page.

Put plainly, our entry tier sits at the top of the local executive band. That's deliberate: the fee pays for positioning and engagement as well as the posts. If you only need posts written, the local market will do it for less, and we'd rather say so than sell you something you don't need. What the service looks like day to day for UAE clients is on our LinkedIn ghostwriting in Dubai page.

A worked example: one year, four ways

Illustrative arithmetic, not quotes. Say you run a 20-person consultancy in Dubai and want about two posts a week for twelve months.

Route Assumption Year one (AED, before VAT)
Upwork freelancer 16 hours a month at the ghostwriter median, about AED 118 an hour About 22,560
Local mid-level package AED 2,800–4,200 a month for 8–12 posts 33,600–50,400
ThoughtLeaders, The Presence AED 5,510 a month: 12 posts, plus comments and positioning 66,120
In-house content manager Indeed's UAE average salary of AED 7,136 a month 85,632, before insurance, gratuity and hiring costs

The freelancer is cheapest in cash and usually costs you the most time, because you write the briefs, chase the drafts and handle the comments yourself. The in-house hire costs the most and gives you a person in the building. The two packages in the middle differ mainly in whether positioning and engagement are part of the fee.

When shouldn't you pay an agency?

More often than agencies tend to admit. Skip it if:

  • Your budget is under about AED 5,500 a month. A good freelancer or a local package will give you more posts for the money.
  • You enjoy writing. A drafting tool at roughly AED 73 to AED 731 a month, plus a sharp editor, may be all you need.
  • You need leads this month. Content builds trust over months. Paid campaigns move faster, and LinkedIn's minimum daily budget is $10.
  • You can't give it 30 minutes a week. No writer can invent what you think.
  • You'll judge it after 60 days. This takes months, not weeks.
